Starting Monday February 1st, 2021 the Clerk & Recorder's office will be going back to normal: no more appointments, walk ins are welcome. The drop-off box is still open for renewals only and for drop off of correspondence for Treasurer, Assessor, DHS...etc. For questions please call the Clerk & Recorder's office at (719) 383-3020.
SB20B-001 was signed into law on Monday, December 7, 2020. The bill provides $37 million in direct aid, grants, and annual fee waivers to struggling small businesses, creates grant programs and allocates funds specifically for art and cultural organizations as well as minority-owned businesses.
This grant program is specifically available for the following business sectors to apply:
• Restaurants
• Bars
• Caterers
• Movie Theaters
• Fitness & Recreation
• Sports Centers

A few months ago we established Colorado COVID Legal Relief, a public/private partnership of the organizations highlighted below to offer FREE legal aid to Colorado small businesses facing challenges due to COVID19. In that time, we have assisted over 100 business owners navigate through these uncertain times with the assistance of volunteer lawyers from over 70 firms across the state. We know there are more businesses out there facing increasing challenges due to the pandemic.

For the safety of our employees and customers, we will accept payments for motor vehicle renewals only, payments for property tax for the Treasurer's Office, and correspondence for DHS office located in the Courthouse voting ballot box, located in the south parking lot of the building.
Place payment by check or exact cash in an envelope with renewal card or tax notice coupon.
