County Administrator – Otero County.
Otero County is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of County Administrator. The County Administrator assists the Board of County Commissioners in the management of general county operations, budget development and finance, human resources, economic development and grantsmanship. In addition the County Administrator functions as liaison with the other elected officials and department heads in directing the administration of county government. The successful applicant will have graduated from a four-year college or university or have five years of progressively responsible management experience, preferably in the public sector. Strong, effective communication skills are a must. Position will be open until filled. Priority will be given to applications received before November 16, 2018. Salary: $60,000-$85,000 per year DOQ, with a generous benefit package including the use of a vehicle.
